When you experience tension and/or pain in your body, or mind, it is important to pay close attention to what your discomfort is telling you as opposed to jumping to immediately working to minimize your distress by suppressing it or tuning it out.

Pain, like all other sensations, communicates information. It is a sign that either a change is taking place within you, or something needs to be changed, corrected, or addressed for you to effectively move forward.

When pain shows up in your life, be sure that the first thing that you do is to completely feel it so that you can hear what it has to say.

When you truly listen to your pain, you are then better able to correctly address it in a way that promotes healing as opposed to delaying any required restoration or allowing your pain to magnify into further, and future, suffering.
