Flex those concentration muscles!

Always remember that simply sitting still for extended periods of time is one of the most challenging poses that humans can assume in their lifetime.

Sitting still requires the greatest amount of energy and concentration than any other posture that your body can get into, which is why everything that you do in your Asana practice is essentially preparing you for this advanced ability to sit motionlessly and quietly for meditation.

While Handstand and Crow have caused many headaches and injuries, and most Asana practitioner often aim for contortive poses as the height of their accomplishment in Yoga practice, all poses, you must always remember, are just a stepping stone for the real inner work of Yoga.

And, as always, just keep practicing, aligning, and moving forward.
