Many falsely claim that Yoga is Asana. This is incorrect. Others falsely claim that Yoga is Samadhi. This is also incorrect. Although Yoga utilizes both Asana and Samadhi on the Eight-Limbed Path, Yoga is Union. And the aim of Yoga practice (the entire last chapter of the Yoga Sutras) is Liberation/Kaivalya. Nothing more. Nothing less.
