Vairagya means non-attachment when practicing Yoga as a consistent, non-stop, part of your life.

And it can be summarized in the following way:

Life is simply an experience.

Freedom comes from not labeling or categorizing your experiences or clinging to what comes and goes for longer than you need to. This allows you to be fully present and to open up to the beauty of experience in every moment…to be in the world and perceiving as your true undistorted and liberated Self instead of identifying as your destructible, conditioned, and limited ego-self.

If you hold on to pleasurable experiences too tightly in life or cling to past pains for too long, you miss the sweetness of your experience of your present moment.

Find a way to let go of all of your attachments and just be free.
